Royal Wade Kimes can’t “Turn Back” now.
Royal Wade Kimes “The Gentleman Outlaw” sees his single “Turn
Back” enter the Top Forty Hot Disc Chart in the UK at #23. “Stephenville
Heist” released in Texas is a most downloaded single on the radio circuit.
Kimes is reminiscent of the Cole Younger Gang that tried to rob
two banks at the same time. The difference is, “The Gentleman Outlaw” is
pulling it off. Most Independent artist struggle to have one song make chart
news and have action in downloads, Kimes has two. But it doesn’t stop there,
his single to western radio “Cowboy Dreaming” is making noise also.
Kimes released three singles to three different markets from his
album “Shadows Of Time.” It is virtually unheard of, having success in all
three markets on one album. Kimes is pushing the limits and has charged ahead.
Why not? He can’t “Turn Back” now.
Royal Wade Kimes is a national recording artist that has written
songs for Garth Brooks, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson and others in addition to his

West Magazine. The late James Arness of the popular television series
“Gunsmoke” once congratulated Kimes for beating the entertainment system by
taking the outlaw road. Kimes has received two Will Rogers awards, and was
given a small screen/music award for his overall performance in the cable
network musical “Dixie Burns.” He is also an author of top selling western
